Melina is a trained research scientist with a PhD in Molecular Biology from USC. Her career spans a range of high-impact roles across academia and the biotech industry. Following her post-doctorate at UCSF, she joined a biotech start-up specializing in immunology and immuno-oncology, where she played a key role in advancing therapeutic strategies for allergic and inflammatory diseases. She later transitioned to the role of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at a diagnostics start-up specializing in early cancer detection, bridging the gap between innovative diagnostic technologies and their clinical applications. Currently, as an MSL at MIMEDX, she partners with healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based insights, foster collaboration and support the successful implementation of advanced medical solutions across wound care and variety of surgical applications.

Dr. John Harper joined MIMEDX as Chief Science Officer and Senior Vice President of Research and Product Development in June 2021. Dr. Harper has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and his principal areas of research interest are extracellular matrix biochemistry, tissue regeneration, and wound healing. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and completed post-doctoral fellowships in cancer biochemistry and cell biology at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California and the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Harper serves on the Board of Directors of Kent Imaging, Nanomedic Technologies, and the American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair.

Jonash Loh is a Medical Science Liaison at MiMedx with a background in clinical research and medical affairs. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and his MD from UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston. Jonash began his industry career as a Clinical Research Associate with Amgen, monitoring clinical trials, before transitioning to Medical Affairs. Before MiMedx, he held MSL roles at Zoll LifeVest and Corcept Therapeutics, where he found his calling as a bridge between science, clinical practice, and the healthcare providers he served. Based in Austin, Jonash enjoys tennis, soccer, and attending live music in his free time.

Dennis graduated from Georgetown Medical School and did his residency training at Stanford University in the combined General Surgery and Plastic Surgery program. Completed his MBA at the Carlton School of Management, University of Minnesota. Has been in the medical device & surgery industry for more than 15 years. He became the Vice President for Medical Affairs at MiMedx in 2022.
