MiMedx Hires Louise Focht as Senior Vice President, Extremities Otheropedics
Tampa FL, November 26, 2007MiMedx, Inc., a
development-stage medical device company, today appointed Louise Focht to serve
as Senior Vice President of Extremities Orthopedics. Ms. Focht will develop and
manage all aspects of their extremities program including regulatory affairs,
quality assurance, product development and intellectual property evaluation.

Ms. Focht has 22 years of orthopedic experience, spending the
last 15 in extremities. She has held engineering, quality assurance, research
and product development positions with Sutter Corporation, Avanta Orthopaedics,
Futura Biomedical, Nexa Orthopedics and Tornier. She was President of Avanta
from 1999 to 2002. She was responsible for the introduction of 14 new
extremities products, and is considered an industry expert in regulatory
affairs. Ms. Focht has been board member of the Orthopedic Surgical
Manufacturers Association and the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand.
