Protection of the aorta, vena cava and iliac vessels and other important anatomy is particularly important in anterior spine surgery. The HydroFix® Vaso Shield was designed to help physicians protect vessels during anterior vertebral surgery.

Product Uses
The HydroFix® Vaso Shield is to be used by inserting it between specific anatomy, such as the anterior spine and adjacent aorta, vena cava, or iliac vessels. The product may be trimmed to fit for easy placement and sutured into position.
The HydroFix® Vaso Shield may be used during:
- Revision Surgery
- Fusion Surgery
- Adjacent Level Surgery

The HydroFix® Vaso Shield is a permanent and biocompatible implant which is suitable as a cover for vessels. The proprietary and patented manufacturing process produces a product that is pliable, constructed in a single-layer and hydrophilic.
